If You Are In Debt, You Are Not Free

Our nation is free because of Independence Day, but what about you?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

On July 4, 1776 our nation declared it's freedom from British rule.

That was 231 years ago.

We now have over 300 million US citizens now.

How many of those 300 million are both healthy and wealthy?

Are you healthy and wealthy?

People have to work to make enough money to stay alive.

There are not 300 million jobs however.

People need proper nutrition to stay healthy, and we get that from the food we eat.

If we are living in poverty and in debt, we might not afford to live healthy.

People in poverty and debt, face more stress, more crime, more sickness and depression. They may not get enough sleep and lack of sleep leads to poor health and mental health problems.

Anyone can get sick and lose their health to such a point that they can not work and might even become permanently disabled.

Many people fall into financial ruin when a major health crises hits home.

You are not free if you have to worry about getting enough food to eat or feed your families.

You are not free if you are afraid to answer your own phone for fear that your creditors and bill collectors are on the other end.

You are not free if you can not rest, relax or sleep from worry, stress, depression and anxiety.

You are not free if the place where you live is filled with cockroaches, mice, rats, lead, mold, toxins, crime, illegal drugs, prostitution, or just not safe to live in.

Yo are not free if your actions are limited and you have no options.

You are not free if you are in debt and your credit is bad.

You are not free if you can not buy the things you need, you can not live where you want to live.
You are not free if you can't do what you want to do and go where you want to go.

Many people are prisoners of work and can never quit their jobs if they are lucky enough to have one.

You are not free if you live in fear.

You are not free if you live in poverty.

You are not free if you live with irreversable debt.

You are not free if you have a uncureable sickness or disease that will take you to any earlier grave.

You are not free if you go to bed hungry.

You are not free if your body no longer looks the way you want it to look or feel the way you want it to feel.

You are not free if you suffer from pain that will not go away.

You are not free if you can not breath because of air pollution, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, allergies, sinus problems, lung disease or lung cancer

Yo are not free if you can not move or walk like you did when you were young and healthy.

The nation might be free in name, but we as a people are not free because of all the problems we have.

The more problems you have the less freedom you have.

I don't know abot you, but as for me:
I WANT TO BE FREE!!!!

Now it's time to get free.

Independence Day will mean something more when you are really free.

Most people in 2009 are not free.

Best Regards
Tony
